Contact Light, the innovation division of digital out-of-home company XTD Ltd (ASX:XTD) continues to see accelerated take up of its EMBARK app from both iOS and Android device users.

According to the latest reports, EMBARK’s embrace by the market has seen average time spent in the app at three minutes a day. The app has received some critical acclaim in influential media, such as the UK-based tech platform Gizmodo giving EMBARK a strong positive review. After its launch EMBARK was also featured by Apple as “An App We Love”.

EMBARK is available for use in all major Australian cities as well as in more than 70 cities in 15 countries worldwide. People using EMBARK on their mobile devices have instant access to the comprehensive public transport options to and from any point in their host city, as well as navigating to prominent points of interest within and around city precincts.

The app is available on iOS and Android platforms and has gone on to implement many user requested features. EMBARK is also making the most of new Apple technologies, such as 3D Touch for new iPhones, as well as displaying live arrival times for people’s favourite services on the Apple Watch.
